- All Saints Church,
accessible through a gate in a wall, has a fifteenth century roof
with complete figures and some of its' original colouring.
- There are many
picturesque walks nearby, including Knettishall Heath and Thetford
Forest.
- Hopton is well
situated to explore East Anglia being on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.
- Bury St Edmunds,
with its' Cathedral is twelve miles away and the market town of Diss
is only eight. The famous Bressingham Gardens are even closer.
- Ipswich, Norwich and
Cambridge are all within easy driving distance.
- Newmarket, Fakenham
and Huntingdon are well known local racecourses which feature
strongly in the owners lives.
